Armour Square parking in Chicago

The Armour Square area of Chicago is located near many popular spaces in Chicago, so parking may cause a problem. Many medical students are near Armour Square because of its proximity to three medical buildings: Mercy Hospital, Reese Hospital, and the Illinois College of Optometry. These students do their residencies, fellowships, and take classes at these three buildings, so their hours are not as reliable and formulaic as in downtown Chicago. There is an inability to predict when would be a good time to find a parking space in Armour Square and when would not. Because of this inability, it would save time and effort to secure a spot that is not subject to the changing schedules of medical students.

Armour Square is also very close to U.S. Cellular Field, home to the Chicago White Sox. During baseball season it is extremely difficult to park close to the stadium, and Armour Square is bombarded with extra cars and thousands of people. Instead of enduring that stress, it is easier to guarantee yourself parking whenever you need it.

Aside from all of the medical institutions and the US Cellular Field, there is also a number of national parks. These parks include Stateway Park, Madden Park, Dunbar Park, and Ellis Park. These parks are great attractions during the spring and summer.

Finally, the Lake Meadows Shopping Center is very close to Armour Square. The shopping center is a great place to shop during the bitter cold winters Chicago has to offer.
